Reuniting care that was never meant to be separate
Mind and body, finally integrated
We treat hormonal + root causes of anxiety, depression, and mood issues—not just the symptoms.
Our Approach
The connection nobody told you to look for
Listening to what your body has been saying all along.

Neurohormonal Psychiatry
At Solstice, we understand that your mood, focus, and energy are not only related to your hormonal rhythms but so intricately intertwined that nobody should be treating them separately.
Our neurohormonal psychiatric approach blends evidence-based mental health care with functional hormone insight to uncover and treat the root causes behind anxiety, depression, fatigue, and emotional shifts.
By aligning your brain chemistry and body balance, we help you restore clarity, calm, and connection — because true mental wellness begins when both the mind and body are in sync.
Solstice reunites care that was never meant to be separate.

Rapid-Acting Relief
Ketamine therapy
What it is
Ketamine is a medication originally developed as an anesthetic, now used at low, controlled doses to provide rapid relief for those who haven't responded to traditional treatments. While conventional antidepressants can take weeks to take effect, ketamine can begin working within hours — offering hope when it's needed most.
How it works
Rather than targeting serotonin or dopamine, ketamine works through the brain's glutamate system — specifically NMDA receptors. This triggers a surge of neuroplasticity, helping the brain form new neural connections and effectively "rewire" the rigid patterns that keep people stuck in depression, anxiety, and trauma. It's not just symptom management — it's neurological renewal.

The Reality
The Numbers Behind Hormonal Health
Most people are being treated for the symptom, not the source. It's time for change.
of women experience hormone-related mood changes throughout their lives
women experience perimenopause-related depression that goes untreated
higher rates of anxiety and depression in women with untreated hormonal imbalances
of women's hormonal imbalances go undiagnosed in routine lab work
more likely women's hormonal health concerns are dismissed as psychological rather than investigated
Your hormones aren't just affecting your body—they're directly impacting your mental health. When we treat the root cause, everything changes.
How It Works
From first conversation to lasting change
A process built on trust, integrated care, and real support.

Why Solstice
The turning point between darkness and light
Sol + Stitium
The word "solstice" comes from sol, meaning sun, and stitium, meaning "to stand still." It's a moment when the sun pauses — marking the turning point between darkness and light.
Healing in Stillness
Healing, like the solstice, often begins in stillness. It's in those quiet moments — between struggle and renewal, the pause between where you've been and where you're going — that light starts to return.
Balance + Light
Solstice represents the balance of mind and body, the return to wholeness, and the belief that even in darkness, light will always prevail.
Founder

Jenna Hyer
RN, MSN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC
With a passion for integrative medicine and a deep commitment to understanding the mind-body connection, I founded Solstice to bridge the gap between conventional psychiatry and functional medicine.
My journey into neurohormonal psychiatry began with a simple observation: so many of my patients' mental health struggles were rooted in hormonal imbalances that were being overlooked by traditional care. I realized that to truly help people heal, we needed to see them whole.
Solstice represents my vision of what modern, compassionate healthcare should be: evidence-based, personalized, and centered on the understanding that your mind and body aren't separate — they're deeply, beautifully connected.
"We are all just walking each other home."
